love travelling, it’s great to visit new places and take in new experiences but wouldn’t it be even better if the experiences could come to us without the effort of getting on a plane? London is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, so we’re lucky that from time to time other countries want to come over here and show us what they’re all about.

Coming up on 5th October there will be a little corner of South East Asia in central London as Malaysia Night comes to Trafalgar Square. The event isn’t just in the evening though, it kicks off at midday with chefs from 20 of London’s leading Malaysian restaurants preparing some tasty treats, alongside traditional arts, crafts and fashion. From 5pm there will also be live entertainment on stage.

Two lucky visitors will also win flights to Malaysia to experience the country first hand, so if you like what you see, keep your fingers crossed! The whole event is in association with Malaysia Kitchen, so the food is guaranteed to be pretty good – we’ll see you in the queue for the beef rendang and chicken satay!

Fri 5th Oct, 5pm onwards
