Have a damaged bike, kettle, phone screen, item of clothing, chair, vacuum cleaner or lamp? On Sat 4th March, head to Cambridge Heath to get it fixed for FREE. You’re invited by heirloom-quality stationery designers Makers Cabinet to bring your broken belongings to the Makers Cabinet Factory on Vyner Street where expert ‘Fixers’ will work their magic (and you can enjoy some free tea or coffee in the meantime). Their last repair shop saw the likes of vintage clocks, tables, notebooks and more given new life. If you want to get involved this year, all you have to do is register online and say what you’ll be bringing. Happy salvaging!
