My Supper Hero is a brand-new concept that provides people with everything they need to eat brilliantly at home. It’s the new meal kit service founded by restaurateur Jamie Barber (he’s the man behind Hush Mayfair, Hache and Cabana) and musician Myleene Klass and has been created as an antidote to samey takeaways and time consuming recipe boxes.
They’re bringing you high quality recipes, featuring ingredients from small and independent suppliers who are really hot on the provenance of their produce, packaged sustainably and sent via eco-friendly deliveries, that don’t take an age to whip up. In fact most of the prep for each recipe has been done for you, meaning you only need to do about ten minutes’ worth of work (aside from oven time, but that takes care of itself) to take the food from box to plate. It’s very much the kind of cooking you can do with a glass of wine in hand and some music on rather than poring over endless instructions and using every pot, pan and tray in the kitchen. With recipes including miso salmon bao buns with sticky teriyaki roast broccoli, stilton & caramelised red onion beef pie, whole roasted sea bream stuffed with Middle Eastern freekeh, and gaeng tay po tofu & roast veg red curry, plus the option to customise your own meals, you won’t be getting bored either.
