signed to the dreamy Sub Pop Records, London based singer-songwriter Lyla Foy has just released her new single ‘Easy’/’Head Down’. Originally under the moniker of ‘WALL’, her debut EP Shoestring, released earlier this year, was a blissful blend of romance, soft whispers and gentle drum machines that demanded you to stop still and listen. It seems only fitting that she now finds herself on the same label as Beach House, Fleet Foxes and Iron & Wine.

Her new single ‘Easy’ is more of the same, if a little less restrained then before. More shimmery layers of sound have been added, her voice is a little bolder and the drums are no longer muted – yet it still remains as delicate as ever. A perfect remedy for the arctic breezes heading our way.
