based duo Lusts are constantly placed somewhere between Echo and The Bunnymen and The Cure when it comes to sonic similarity, their latest single ‘Mouthwash’ is a tasteful nod to the decade that popularised Garfield, Ghostbusters and goth culture but with a fresh feeling to it- must be why they chose the name.

Shoegazey, shimmery and a little psychedelic, ‘Mouthwash’ has a rich soundscape and is crafted in a way that demonstates the brothers’ musicality as being way beyond their years. With tracks like this and support slots from fellow neo-psychedelic compadres Coves, Lusts make us feel so much more than their namesake.
