nostalgia meets modern day neo-psychelic shimmer for LUST’s latest track ‘Illuminations’. With a glowing chorus sweeping anthemic vibes into a shoegaze meets post punk soundscape, ‘Illuminations’ buils a soaring wall of sound only to tear it back to raw guitar and reverb coated vocals shining through a thein veil of electronics as the track builds up again to its full feelgood glory. The video for the track is as equally filled with lofi vibrancy as colours swirls through dimly lit clips of the group, giving a raw, kaledescopic feel to suit the track perfectly. ‘Illuminations’ is filled with just that.
