The new menu will celebrate the best of summer produce

Ferragosto is the annual Italian holiday that marks the beginning of the summer break and Luca is bringing the celebrations to London with a special menu spotlighting the best of the season. The five-course menu will be available from 1st – 26th August, with the option to enjoy the meal out on the restaurant’s foliage-filled terrace (hopefully it’ll stop raining first).

Luca’s head chef Robert Chambers has paired some of the restaurant’s most-loved classics with dishes from Italy’s coastal regions to form this limited-time menu, which will feature:

  • Burrata with vesuvio tomato, white peach, shaved fennel and sfincione
  • Vitello tonnato, tema artichoke, celery, capers and preserved lemon
  • Tortellini of pistachio pesto, smoked sheep’s ricotta, Italian beans and lemon
  • Roasted Stillman’s Farm pork chop, Italian peas, girolles
  • Rum baba, Kentish strawberries and mascarpone ice cream

There’ll also be a selection of fresh spritzes on offer to complete the summery vibes, including the signature ‘Luca Spritz’ (Sacred dry vermouth, pear, blood orange & prosecco), as well as a wide variety of Italian wines. If you’ve been dreaming of the Italian coast, it sounds like this could be the next best thing.
