#LoveNotLandifill is popping up in Brick Lane this November with a load of pre-loved fashion from charity shops in tow so you can shop guilt-free. Not only will you be saving clothes from landfills, all the profits will be going to the charities involved. Each shop will have a collection curated by a range of fashion influencers – Lizze Loves is doing the TRAID collection, Paloma in Disguise has the Oxfam Collection, Jasmine Hemsley is doing the Royal Trinity Hospice Collection, and the Barnardo’s Collection will be curated by Confetti Crowd, and Depop will also be in the house too.
The pop-up will also host a series of workshops on repairing and upcycling clothes, like the Royal Trinity Hospice Jewellery Mending workshop and TRAID’s Darn Good Darning workshop, so you can learn how to fix up your own pieces. You’ll also be able to drop off any old clothes you don’t love anymore at the #LoveNotLandfill clothes bank designed by street artist Bambi, meaning you’ll have more space in your wardrobe for some new (old) garms.
