Slow fashion designer Lydia Bolton is tackling textile waste and fighting fast fashion one upcycled garment at a time. She transforms thrifted items and deadstock fabrics into new one-off pieces, like turning tablecloths into maxi skirts, scraps of wool into tank tops, and fruity tea towels into summer shirts. As well as collaborating with big brands to help spread the message of sustainability in fashion, she also hosts upcycling workshops so that people can learn how to repurpose their own old clothes and keep them from ending up in landfill.
