NAFS is an online platform celebrating the queer SWANA (South West Asian, North African) community and reclaiming its stories through art, nightlife and cultural resistance. NAFS regularly throws parties with SWANA DJs on the line-ups; showcases artists and their upcoming exhibitions; provides a safe space for people in the community to explore their identities through workshops and events on storytelling, language and queerness; and is vocal in its support of Palestine. Through NAFS, Drew is also giving space for the community to share their stories, experiences and truths about being Queer and SWANA. The project, A Collection of Queer SWANA Narratives, is aiming to act as a testament to both the diversity of the community and the power its voices has.
