London via Sweden group Francobolla have arrived on the scene singing about ‘Kinky Lola’. With jagged guitar lines and raw vocals, this theatrical track is like something straight from the 80s. Playful with a dark undertone it sounds like something you’d hear in a haunted house at the fair, but we can’t stop listening.
EMPARA MI | THE COME DOWN
After becoming hooked on Empara Mi’s debut ‘Wanderlust’, we were expecting big things for her second single and ‘The Come Down’ certainly doesn’t disappoint. Trademarked with her powerful vocals, she uses slick production to create a huge sound.
DREAM WIFE | KID
Dream Wife evolved out of an art project where three art students decided to form a ‘fake girl band’ as part of an exhibition, but it went so well they were soon being booked for gigs all over England and have even toured Canada. Glitter fuelled ‘Kids’ is taken from their EP Cannibal Hymns and the video is as weird as you’d expect…
PROMISES LTD. | AMERICAN EYES
Promises Ltd. have shared new track ‘American Eyes’ ahead of their debut EP. Taking synth pop back to basics; the verses build up to a bass-heavy chorus – just like an old school dance floor filler.
