Discover new places to eat out with our London restaurant reviews. London is overflowing with great restaurants. Where do you start? We’re asked daily about which new restaurants have opened, which ones are worth seeking out and what’s not living up to the hype.
From the hustle of Shoreditch to the back streets of our local ‘hood, we scour the city so we can tell you what impresses us (so you can impress your mates). It could be a new street food craze, the next hottest vegan place, a swish Michelin-starred restaurant or a tiny little pop-up without a tablecloth in sight. We’ve got high-end places for those baller occasions, along with the bank-balance-friendly cheap eats.
We’re fair on what we tell you, though we only write London restaurant reviews on what we can truly recommend. Why waste your time telling you something you shouldn’t experience when we can tell you something you most definitely should? We’ve rated our reviews too, from three to five stars, depending on how much we love them to help you prioritise your own all-important hit list. Don’t forget to check out our curated maps of where to find the best burgers, brunch, and loads more all across town too.
So what actually makes a good restaurant? For us, it’s four things. The food itself obviously. Secondly the service – we expect it to be on point. Interiors count for a lot too. Everyone likes an aesthetically pleasing place but we do appreciate that not everyone has a design studio on the books, and sometimes a hole in the wall is fine too. Then there is the atmosphere, the gentle chitter chatter, the sound of laughter, of people having a good time.
Long story short, if you’re looking for London restaurant reviews, for any occasion imaginable – we can help with that.
