Soon enough, restaurants that don’t have a veggie/vegan spin-off or at least a fully plant-focused menu offering are going to be way behind the times – seems like everyone’s living on the veg these days. Well if you’re one of the many people whose new year’s resolution was to ditch the meat and go veggie, then we have great news for you as Rosa’s Thai cafe has launched an all veggie pop-up in Soho.
The restaurant has put veggie twists on their famous dishes along with new and tasty editions you won’t find in other restaurants. To start we went for the dishes that are specific to the veggie branch, including the sweetcorn patties and the mushroom laab, which was one of our faves of the night. For the mains however we stuck with our trusty favourites, the rich and spicy massaman tofu curry and the absolute classic tofu pad thai. Rosa’s do a mean cocktail too including the CO PI PI and the Blackberry and Tamarind Rum Punch, so it doesn’t have to be ALL clean living.
