The Langham’s renowned cocktail bar Artesian recently launched its brand new cocktail menu ‘Artesian Moments’ and it’s the first one from newly appointed head bartender Remy Savage and bar manager Anna Sebastian. With their past roles at the Little Red Door in Paris and the Beaufort Bar at the Savoy, it’s fair to say we had pretty high expectations. The menu is carefully designed by Anna and Remy along with input from the public and aims to replicate flavours that we associate with the feelings experienced in familiar life-defining moments.

First up we tried the ‘…You Took Your First Steps’, a tasty concoction of Bacardi Heritage 1909 rum, milk and banana topped with strawberry medicine that took us instantly back to our childhood. This was followed by ‘…You Went Travelling’, which included papaya, noni and cardamom and came with a monoi flower that cleverly replicated the smell of sun tan lotion.

Whilst enjoying the cocktails you should defo order a few bites from the bar snacks menu, created by executive chef Chris King and Michel Roux Jr no less – our favourites were the extra cheesy croque monsieur and the calamari with black garlic aioli.

The Artesian Moments menu features some really creative cocktails that manage to capture those big moments in life without feeling too gimmicky, so if you wanna head down memory lane, this is how to do it.
