LOST Festival is only a few months away! But don’t worry, you can get your fix of messy, creative fun at the next Live Art Party organised by Please Do Not Not Touch. This will be the third awesome event designed to give London a ‘taste’ of what to expect at LOST Festival happening on the 22nd August this summer.
This is not your usual gallery experience, nor is it a normal party – to ensure your playful side is brought out, previous events have consisted of a bubble-wrap walkway, a furry swing and face-painting. You can glide from from one piece into the next getting wrapped up in a maze of threads, then climbing through a window, dancing to some funk and disco before diving into a ball-pond – it’s not your average night out!
Spectators become artists and previous events have involved live body painting; space hoppers; a giant tapestry maze; melting sculptures; a house facade; a four-poster bed covered in wet paint; a chair made of rubber gloves; UV jelly brains; a woodland walkway; moving sculptures with sensors; projection mapping, and much much more! The party is also BYOB so there’s no need to worry about expensive drink prices. You don’t need to be an artist or even understand the art to enjoy it, the key is to let go of your inhibition and get involved.Just make sure you bring some wetwipes if you’re taking the tube home!
