Lorde Is Doing a World Tour | Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Everyone’s fave Kiwi pop star is coming back to town

Four years after her last album Solar Power, Lorde is back with new music – we’ve already heard ‘What Was That’, and the new LP Virgin is coming out in full on 27th June. And Lorde is wasting no time getting out on the road in support of the album as she’s just announced North American and European dates for the Ultrasound tour.

When and where is Lorde playing in London?

The Ultrasound tour is starting on Weds 17th September at the Moody Centre in Austin, Texas and she’s playing 21 dates across North America. The European leg kicks off on Sun 9th November in Luxembourg, and her UK dates include Manchester on Sat 15th November, London on Sun 16th November, Glasgow on Weds 19th November, and Birmingham on Thurs 20th November.

The London show on Sun 16th November is happening at the O2 Arena, which will be her first time headlining at this venue.

Who is supporting Lorde on tour?

On her website, Lorde has written, “I AM GOING ON TOUR IN SUPPORT OF MY NEW ALBUM, VIRGIN. VERY PROUD AND EXCITED TO BE BRINGING MY MOST TALENTED FRIENDS IN SUPPORT.” Those friends include Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yana, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack and Oklou, who’ll be playing on select dates.

At the London date, Nilüfer Yana and Jim-E Stack will be her support acts.

When do tickets go on sale?

Lorde’s artist pre-sale begins on Weds 14th May at 10am and you can sign up for access here.
