Step through the giant opulent ‘looking glass’ and into a world of decedent debauchery with unique mesmerizing cocktails and eccentric entertainment in a lavish, cosy setting. This is all in the form of newly opened Cocktail Club, Looking Glass which sits on number 49 hackney Road and is the new joint from the peeps behind White Rabbit. As you can guess it’s all very Alice in Wonderland and they have the decor and soon to be announced entertainment to match. The cocktails include Apple crumble sours; Gingerbread syrup, chivas regal, lemon juice and brambly apple shaken to a froth and they confidently rate their own bloody Mary as ‘outstanding’….there is only one way to find out.
