The words cannabis and Camden in the same sentence may have you thinking of those dodgy old headshops stuffed with bongs and marijuana leaf print t-shirts but that’s definitely not the case with LDN CBD, the city’s first cannabis oil boutique. LDN CBD has a real premium feel and they only stock 100% tested and legal products (CBD oil contains less than 0.2% THC, which is what produces the high, so no you can’t get stoned with this stuff), including essential oil extracts, serums, edibles, capsules and creams. There’s also talk of opening treatment rooms inside the store to offer facials, massages, sound baths and the like.
As it’s an effective form of pain relief for things like joint pain and MS, the consumption of CBD oil is on the rise – Holland & Barrett even started stocking it this year – so we expect to be seeing more stores like LDN CBD in the future.
