London’s Best Dressed Bike Race Is Back for 2025

The city just played host to the World Naked Bike Ride and another cycling race is taking over the capital this weekend – though this one won’t have as much bare flesh on display. The Brompton World Championship is back and this edition will be celebrating the brand’s 50th anniversary.

Unlike regular (or naked) cycling races, the BWC (a headline event of The London Cycle Festival) is all about dressing to impress. That means no to lycra and yes to big, bold and wacky outfits. Suitable for cyclists of all abilities, the race will see participants ride the folding bikes around the urban circuit, going past the King’s Cross gasholders, a ramped descent, a dog leg on Granary Square and a 200m sprint on the home straight. You’ll need to buy a ticket below to take part in the race but the event is free to watch.
