And now for some good news, London Zoo is ready to re-open as the next phase of the lifting the lockdown restrictions begins. After being closed for an unprecedented three months, the zoo is ready to welcome back visitors and has put a number of new safety measures in place. Tickets must be booked in advanced, with limited capacity across morning and afternoon time slots; there’ll be social distancing markers and route signs in place; hand sanitiser will be available throughout; and the restaurant will remain closed, with snack bars providing takeaway food.
London Zoo relies heavily on ticket sales to help support its conservation work, so you’ll be really be helping the zoo out by paying the animals a visit.
