here ladies and gents, it’s time to don your trusty tweed and saddle up on your cycle because the annual London Tweed Run has returned. Flat caps, plus fours and cycling capes are all encouraged for the jolly jaunt, where you’ll take in some of London’s finest landmarks, stop for a spot of tea on the green, a picnic break in the park, and finish off with a good old knees-up. Tickets for the ride are £25, including a £5 donation to the London Cycling Campaign, but if you want to make a real show of it, you can begin the day with The Tweed Run Brunch for £25 or luncheon in style with a gourmet picnic hamper for £30. Naturally, there are plenty of prizes up for grabs, including Best Dressed, Best Vintage Bicycle, Best Decorated Bicycle and Best Moustache, so one ought to turn out well-pressed and raring to go.
