London Design Festival, the celebration of all things design, is back for 2023, with events, fairs, installations, pop-ups and exhibitions happening all over town from 16th – 24th September. The event showcases London as a design capital of the world, highlighting different Design Districts across the city from Bankside to Shoreditch Design Triangle to Park Royal and spotlighting the greatest design talent from around the world. Here are all the things you need to know about for LDF 2023.

Heal’s
16th – 23rd Sept
At its flagship store on Tottenham Court Road, Heal’s will be presenting some of its most iconic pieces alongside an exhibition of recent design graduates.

London Design Fair
21st – 24th Sept
The UK’s largest design fair is returning to Truman Brewery, with 200 exhibitors and installations from 2LG Studio and K-WORKS STUDIO.

Tom Dixon presents HYPERMOBILE
16th – 24th Sept
At his King’s Cross HQ, Tom Dixon is exhibiting his move towards the miniature with Portables, his new small battery-powered lamps.

Donna Wilson 20 Years
16th – 24th Sept
Donna Wilson is popping up in Shoreditch with a 20th anniversary exhibition, showcasing her playful knitted creations and unveiling new designs.

TfL’s digital team is leading a tour around King’s Cross, revealing how it creates new digital experiences using live data and emerging tech.

Atelier100 Drop02
14th – 24th Sept
Atelier100, which supports emerging, London-based creatives, is showcasing Drop02, a collection created by its 2023 cohort, including 3D-printed footwear and upholstered mirrors, at a showroom on Mare Street in Hackney.

Sara Shakeel | The Great Supper

Pakistani artist Sara Shakeel is exhibiting one of her signature bedazzled pieces, The Great Supper, a full-size dining table and dinner covered in crystals, at Design District in Greenwich.
