Colt are best known for injecting some much needed freshness into music of the psychedelic rock variety, with their stompy yet supernatural flavours and ‘Driving Mr Johnny’ is no exception. They’ve truely dusted the cobwebs off classic pyschedelia with this one, febreezing over the often dated feeling of the genre and giving it a lick of paint in the form of PJ Harvey meets Ann Wilson of Heart vocals swirled though rich multicoloured tones of mystical instrumentation.

Their acoustic performance of recently released debut album ‘Away From The Water’ track ‘Boom Boom Blasphemy’ futher showcases their seductively potent brand of fuzz infused pyschedilia and establishes the the London based six-piece as a true force to be reckoned with…The weather outside looks a bit bleak mind.
