LOCKET’S TO OPEN IN ST JAMES’S

The Wiltons Group, which runs the iconic Wiltons and its sister restaurant Franco’s, opens a third restaurant in St James’s today. Taking over the former home of the Economist magazine, Locket’s will have the look of a 1960s Italian trattoria, and will be an all-day restaurant serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea that flips into a wine bar in the evenings.

By day, Locket’s will serve a menu of breakfast pastries, teas, coffees, smoothies and juices, followed by salads and dishes such as broccoli with beluga lentils and smoked anchovies. By night it will become a candle-lit wine bar with simple small plates such as burrata with butternut squash and pumpkin seeds, as well as creamy polenta, mushrooms and parmesan.

Opens Monday 18th November
Smithson Plaza, 25 St James’s Street, SW1A 1HA
