You may not be able to celebrate national Margarita Day on 22nd February in your favourite Mexican restaurant or cocktail bar this year, but we’re still using it as an excuse to enjoy a tasty marg or two at home. We’ve done a roundup of the best pre-bottled Margaritas so you can get sipping with no effort required, but if you do fancy shaking up your own, splash out on a bottle of Maestro Dobel Humito, the world’s first smoked silver tequila, which will add a smoky twist to your at home margs.

Owned by world class bartenders Alex Kratena and Monica Berg, Old Street’s Tayer + Elementary cocktail bar has been batching up their tasty cocktails for you to enjoy at home. Their pre-bottled Bergamot Margarita is refreshing and at 23.1% abv packs a punch.

Three Sheets’ Margarita

Much-loved Dalston cocktail bar Three Sheets have put a twist on the classic with their pre-bottled Margarita. Made with tequila, lime, orange and hint of neroli it’s a tasty one. You can bag yourself a bottle online at Top Cuvee.

This is probably one of London’s most famous margaritas, probs taking over your Insta feed pre-Covid. Hacha’s Mirror Margarita is a work of art, being completely transparent but tasting just like a Margarita and it’s sure to create FOMO for all your friends on National Marg day.

The Red Lion and Sun’s Frozen Marg

Swap your pint of milk for a pint of Frozen Margarita at Highgate pub The Red Lion and Sun. It may still be winter but these frozen margaritas are the closest thing we’ll be getting to holiday happy hour at the minute. These are only available for delivery within a two-mile radius of the pub.

Sun Tavern’s DIY Margarita Kit

Bethnal Green boozer Sun Tavern have teamed up with Ocho tequila and Cointreau to create a DIY Margarita Kit at home. The kit costs £50 and includes everything you need to make plenty of Margaritas including a bottle of Ocho tequila, Cointreau, a Mexican Elbow, a cocktail shaker, limes, salt, glasses, coasters a jigger and a strainer.
