If your idea of a solid Christmas meal comes in the form of something a bit more fancy, head to The Providores and Tapa room (that’s right, you get two restaurants for the price of one). As we are trying to point out, this place is posh, so don’t forget your nicest outfit… or your credit card.
For Christmas, there will be both a lunch (£38 for 3 courses or £45 with a sparkling cocktail) and dinner (£54/£61) offering – though the menus are exactly the same. The food on offer has both hints of traditional British cuisine, fused with ingredient from all over the world. For example, there’s duck breast, served with orange cinnamon spiced polenta, kale and a goose croquette, as well as pheasant terrine, served with mustard fruits and onion bread.
