The Palomar has become a real Soho stalwart and a seat at the restaurant’s counter is still an exciting place to park yourself for a meal. The menu brings together the cuisines of Southern Spain, North Africa and the Levant, and features dishes like octopus with chorzio, labneh and broad beans; ras-el-hanout roast cauliflower with celeriac and cured egg yolk; sea bass crudo with blood orange and bergamot; and chicken with yoghurt sauce and chilli butter. You could equally just load up on fluffy pita and all the dips and leave happy.
