Gizzi Erskine is popping up at St Martins Lane Kitchen for three months with The Nitery, inspired by the bohemian restaurants that popped up in Paris and Atlantic City in the early 20th century. The menu will showcase Gizzi’s take on French, American and British food, with dishes including devilled eggs with roast chicken crackling; oysters with yuzu kosho granita; iced roast beetroot & buttermilk soup with raw red prawn; steak tartare with bone marrow dripping on marmite toast; flagoelet dauphinoise with goat cutlets; Calasparra rice with woodfired shellfish; and chocolate mousse with Horlicks cream. On Sundays, The Nitery will serve up a roast complete with a carvery station, a dessert trolley and a cheese trolley.
