This black comedy from Martin McDonagh sees Adian Turner (from Poldark) play Mad Padraic, a loose cannon too violent for the IRA, return to his home of Inishmore because his cat Wee Thomas has died and there’s been a cover-up as to how. Whilst there’s lots of gun pointing and bloodshed (it’s not just the cat that meets a sticky end) the play is also hilariously funny and an excellent satire on terrorism and fanaticism.
