Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker returns to the National Theatre, following runs of earlier works The Flick and John. The Antipodes is her latest play and it questions the value that stories have for a world in crisis by featuring a group of people, sans phones, sat round a table having a good old chat. Unlike the play’s off-Broadway premiere, Baker is co-directing here with Chloe Lamford, so it’s an extra special production.
