New York has a far more developed Korean restaurant scene than London – and if you’re looking to try some in a more casual, trad style than say something like Atomix (which we also highly recommend), then Sunn’s is an ideal spot. The vibe is more cool wine bar that just happens to serve some killer Korean banchan courtesy of chef/owner Sunny Lee. There’s an extensive wine list of natural wines, makgeolli (Korean rice wine), soju and beer and the daily rotating food menu features the likes of chicken and crab mandu (dumplings); cold buckwheat noodles; and braised pork belly. We love it.
