Somerset House is hosting a big exhibition of M.C. Escher, the Dutch artist known for his shifting perspectives and geometric worlds that still influence visual culture today. Over 150 works will be on show, from his early landscapes and tessellations to his metamorphoses and visual paradoxes, as well as iconic pieces like Relativity, Drawing Hands and Ascending and Descending. There’ll also be interactive installations for you to explore the conceptual mechanisms that underpin his work.
