The extensive menu means fish fans are well catered for, with everything from tuna tartare to shrimp cocktail to NYC-style smoked fish on there, plus egg dishes (with a fishy twist obvs), like waffles with eggs, fried lobster & syrup; eggs bennie with smoked salmon, lobster or caviar; and scrambled eggs with caviar – yes you can have caviar on just about anything here, including on the Saltie cocktail. We also rate the Shetland mussels, which comes with a thick piece of sourdough toast in the bottom to soak up all the white wine and garlic juices, and you can’t come to Saltie Girl without having a lobster roll – get it warm so it’s even more buttery.
