This Lambeth spot has been going for over 80 years, albeit in a few different guises. First opened as Marc Antonios and known for its Italian classics, particularly its ice cream, the site then became a wholesale bakery, then a sandwich producer, which closed during the pandemic. It then fell back into the original family’s hands and is now Rise & Shine, a classic caff serving fry-ups, jacket potatoes, spag bol, casseroles, chillis and more.
