Inside the Art Deco building of Mortimer House, which is also home to a members’s club, events space and gym, is Mortimer House Kitchen, a Soho House-esque all-day set up open to the public where Head Chef Lello Favuzzi, previously of L’Anima, merges his passion for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. The mid-century decor is easy on the eye as is the herringbone flooring, glass-ceiling conservatory and the open kitchen. he menu highlights the bold flavours of Italy and is peppered with exotic touches of the Middle East, with dishes like burnt carrots, yoghurt, tahini and fennel pollen; Mazara prawn crudo; herb tortellini with smoked burrata and noisette butter; and grilled veal cutlet topped with Sicilian vegetable caponata.
