Like steak and chips? Well this is the spot for you. Le Relais de Venise does steak, chips and salad, and that’s basically it. First opened in Paris in 1959, the formula hasn’t changed since then – you get a green salad with a mustard vinaigrette and walnuts, entrecote with fries and ‘secret sauce’ (you can get two servings) and then a choice of a classic French pud, along with some French vino. You can’t book, so prepare to queue.
