Run by self-taught British-Iraqi chef Philip Juma, this Borough Market spot celebrates the street of food of Iraq. Handmade kubba, crispy potato and ground meat or mushroom balls, are his signature but you can also find the likes of bamia okra stew, spinach fatayer, mixed grills on fresh flatbreads, and knafa. On Sundays, he does a giant pot of dolma, rice lamb mince stuffed into peppers and vine leaves, which is flipped over and served at 1pm.
