Sal Whitehead and Hakan Guney, the owners of chicken restaurant Peck Peck in Hackney, have opened new concept Hendl, which is all about the art of rotisserie at Hackney Church Brew Co. As well the chicken, which will be brined for four hours, slow roasted and served with a variety of glazes including harissa, aji verde and nduja hot honey, Hendl is also doing porchetta, Sunday roasts and bar snacks like camembert bites with hot honey, and wings with house ranch.
