The Museum of London is diving into the history of grime with the free exhibition Grime Stories: from the corner to the mainstream, co-curated by Roony ‘RiskyRoadz’ Keefe. The display, which spotlights the people and places across East London that shaped the genre from its inception in the early 2000s to today, features a panoramic illustration by Wiilkay; personal artefacts relating to grime MCs; films and footage featuring Skepta, DJ Slimzee, Rapid and Slix, and Troy ‘A+’ Miller; and an installation focusing in Jammer’s basement where Lord of the Mics was born.
