European restaurant and bar Gold is a three-floor space with a bar, open kitchen and garden room complete with trees and a retractable roof, with more dining areas and a private room on the upper floors. You won’t have any trouble spotting the place as Portuguese artist Vhils was commissioned to create works for Gold, including a pavement-to-roof piece outside. Inside, the crack team, including Head Chef Theo Hill (ex-River Cafe), serve up a modern, produce-led sharing menu with many dishes cooked over a fire or in a wood oven. Always order the Stracciatella, marinated peppers and anchovies on toast. YUM.
