Galley, on Upper Street in Islington, was opened by siblings Marcel Grzyb, who was previously Head Chef at Soho seafood restaurant Randall & Aubin, and Oriona Robb, a professional stylist. The menu is mainly fish but there are some meat options too – expect tempura oysters, scallops with carrot & cardamom puree, sea bass served with gnocchi and Moroccan-inspired hake with chickpeas, chorizo and tomatoes. Save room for desserts too there’s white chocolate pannacotta with honeycomb and a salted caramel tart with green tea ice cream.
