The Roof Garden restaurant, located on the top two floors (clue’s kinda in the name there) of Belgravia’s Pantechnicon building, is offering a Nordic menu which features some interesting ingredients, many of which are cooked over fire, served raw or smoked. Expect the likes of freshly baked tear-and-share fennel and honey bread served with elderberry; scallops with leek and mussel sauce topped with tiny mounds of jerky style reindeer; andchicken breast with truffle butter, celeriac puree, chard and lovage alongside some potatoes in a smoky butter with chives. It’s a much needed dose of cool in Belgravia.
