Eel Sushi Bar in Notting Hill may be tiny, but it’s got a mighty reputation. The casual sushi spot serves up seriously high-quality fish, including Kama-Toro tuna, one of the rarest and most prized cuts of bluefin tuna which comes from the collar, jaw and gill of the fish. It was our first time trying it and we can safely say it won’t be the last – it’s a must order. The menu is packed with other creative dishes too, like the half quail tempura and lobster tail tempura skewers as well as a long list of classic nigiri and sashimi. They also do a £7 slice of that prized and pricey Japanese musk melon for dessert.
