Written by Clint Dyer and Roy Williams, new one-person play Death of England: Delroy will be directed by Dyer and performed by Michael Balogun. It follows on from the play Death of England, which was staged at the National’s Dorfman Theatre earlier in 2020, and focuses on Delroy, the best friend of the protagonist from the first play, who explores what it’s like to be a working-class black man in the UK today.
