After a decade of pop-ups, festivals, residencies Mursal Saiq and Joshua Moroney have opened their first permanent site. Garden Bar Grill and Smokehouse by Cue Point London is the brand’s flagship home. If you’ve been following them for a while, you’ll know Cue Point has always done things its own way. Mursal and Josh built the concept around low-and-slow barbecue, Afghan flavours and a genuinely inclusive approach. That means halal, vegan and gluten-free options all built into the offering, rather than tacked on as an afterthought. The new site is the fullest expression of that yet. There’s a large-format American drum smoker in the pub’s 200-cover garden, with the menu mixing Texas-style BBQ, live-fire cooking, and Afghan spices, chutneys, pickles and sauces.
