One of New York’s toughest reservations has to be COQADOQ the Korean fried chicken joint from Simon Kim, who’s also behind the much-lauded Cote Korean Steakhouse. This place is a temple to fried chicken, using the absolute best organic free range chickens, as well as rice flour batter and cultured oil more a less greasy finish. This is about as close to healthy guilt-free chicken as you’re going to get. The place is a huge amount of fun too, with a gigantic champagne list to pair with all that chicken, and dishes that include nuggets topped with caviar, buckets of wings doused in gochujang glaze, and some incredible perilla seed cold noodles.
