25 years after it premiered, Patrick Marber’s Olivier Award-winning play Closer (which was adapted into a film in 2004 starring Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Julia Roberts and Clive Owen) is being revived by director Clare Lizzimore at the Lyric Hammersmith. The play , a tale of longing, lust and desire, follows the lives of four Londoners whose lives become entangled as they fall in date, love and fight each other, and this radical new production stars Jack Farthing, Ella Hunt, Nina Toussaint-White and Sam Troughton as the main quartet.
