Get a taste of the Great British seaside in the heart of town at the Moet & Chandon Chippy in the City pop-up on the Fish Market terrace. The outdoor food stall is serving up a classic menu of pickled Clarence Court eggs, scampi, devilled whitebait and battered haddock and chips. Purists can go for the beer battered option but if you like a little spice, the curry battered fish is the one to go for. Add in some mushy peas and tartare sauce (and a glass of fizz if you’re feeling fancy) you’ve got a proper fish supper and at chip shop prices too. It’s even served in traditional takeaway boxes, although you do get a proper knife and fork to eat it with – it’s still the City after all.
