Dulwich Picture Gallery is marking 100 years since the birth of surrealism with this exhibition focusing on British surrealism – the first one in the capital for over 80 years. The show will explore themes of dreams, politics, sex, and the irrational, with works from 42 British artists that were part of the surrealist movement. Pieces from Leonora Carrington, Francis Bacon, Henry Moore, Edward Burra, John Armstrong,sMarion Adnams, Conroy Maddox, and Paul Nash will be on display, as will rare edition books and objects.
