Travel back to 1950s Havana right in the heart of Canary Wharf at Bar Bolivar. Decked out like an old Havana hotel, the bar features a suitcase-cladded bar, ceiling fans, an indoor fountain, a signature wall for guests to sign….yes leaving your autograph is encouraged…and a covered terrace outside for al fresco drinking. There are plenty of Cuban-inspired cocktails on the drinks list, including the Hemingway Highball (vermouth, white rum, grapefruit & cranberry juice and cherry soda), the Gin Malecon (gin, orgeat, bitters, lime and pineapple juice), the Havana Old Fashioned (made with rum) and the Bolivar Mojito. Street food trader Pabellón is serving plantain and beef brisket arepas, rice bowls, plantain chips with chipotle mayo, grilled cheeses with truffled honey and Cubano sandwiches.
